On June 18, 2021, my daughter's school had conducted Father’s Day activity. The task was 'Cooking without fire'.
So my 2 gems decided to construct a train with the vegetables and biscuits. The fuel to this train was Bournvita milk.
Elder gem cut all the vegetables (included capsicum, carrot, radish, tomato). Wheels were taken by Parle-G biscuits. The face and neck were Monaco biscuits. Younger gem put all of the cut vegetables to their places and nicely completed the train. So here it is vegetable train. The task is completed – Teacher was happy, Father-daughter happy. Little Miss. S (Younger Gem) was more eager to eat the train.
A teacher called each of the kids to say the best quality of their fathers. The responses given by each of the kids were varied like - I love my father, he is my hero, and so on.
Now the turn comes to Miss. S, Father eagerly waiting to listen to what his daughter thinks of him
Mam: Miss. S what do you like about your father?
Miss S: He always makes me happy, I love him so much
(Mother and Father looking at each other)
Listening to the answer father sitting on cloud nine with an ear-to-ear wide smile.
Mother was in awe to see both of their smiles.
There is no doubt that parents love their children to the moon and back.
In this hectic world try to spend time with your kids, those little efforts go long way.
